The Feldberg Family
A passion for exceptional hospitality and wine led to the founding of Stratus Vineyards in 2000.
Internationally recognized for its striking architecture and sustainability leadership as the world’s first LEED-certified winery, Stratus helped usher in a new era of winemaking and visitor experiences in Niagara.
Today, as a certified B Corporation, Stratus continues to set the standard for responsible business, balancing exceptional wines and hospitality with a deep commitment to environmental and social impact.
The Hawley Family
Driven by a deep appreciation for the region and its future, they have created places where people gather, connect, and make lasting memories. Today, that same philosophy is reflected in Clayfield Commons and The Clayfield.
The Hawley family’s connection to the town runs deep. John Hawley, alongside his late wife Liz, pioneered The Village – an award-winning neighbourhood inspired by walkability, heritage architecture, and authentic community living. Their vision helped redefine modern neighbourhood design while remaining rooted in a strong sense of place.
